GW live action movie
Hmmm, I was thinking how Guild Wars could translate to the big screen in live action form. Since games to movies are a bomb, maybe not so good. But how would you do it? How would play roles? What would the plot be? And the ultimate show down of guild v guild, who - what - where - when??
Maybe a band of pug's join up 1 by 1 on a journey to the halls where there's some evil guild group holding it, and holding halls allows some gateway to the underworld or fissure of woe to be opened. So the PUG group quest there to kill and close the underworld portal. Smashing all those chaos axe wielding dudes on the way, collecting some fissure armour to beef them up, even a special appearance by undead Rurik who we see get killed in the opening scene trying to hold halls. You could see the evil guild killing ghosty as a living person to see his origin. Jessica Alba could play an evil necro with the tatoo outfit. I dunno, maybe just too cheesey to work even with a $200m+ budget. But some of the ele spell effects would look just awesome. Maybe I'll just wait for Transformers movie |

jessica alba's kinda hot, but i think Josie Maran is hotter (though im not sure she can act, know she was in Van Helsing)
thinking of a movie like The Chronicles of Narnia kind of thing? and before they try this, ide see how the Halo movie does, if game movies bomb or not |
